April Favorites

The month of April always gets me so excited for sunny days and warm weather with its teases of sunshine and pretty blooms. I feel like I'm coming out of hibernation and I'm looking forward to a spring wardrobe and glowing skin.

An off-the-shoulder top is still going strong this spring and summer and I'm loving it! This solid blue jersey top is from Uniquities in Raleigh, NC and not available online, but I've linked an adorable gingham version below from J. Crew. They have so many colors to choose from - I'm eyeing a bright red one that would be perfect for football season here in Athens.

Ripped jeans and a Louis Vuitton Neverfull are on heavy rotation for me this season. The Damier Azur color is perfect for a lighter wardrobe and it holds everything without feeling too bulky. The sides can be cinched in if you want a slimmer bag and the little zippered change purse that it comes with is useful as a clutch in the evenings.

I DIY'd my ripped jeans but linked a similar pair below.

How pretty are these scarab beetle earrings from Hermosa Jewlery? I bought these while at The Southern Coterie Conference at Sea Island and receive so many compliments every time I wear them! The earrings with the pearls are sold out but they do have some with simply the beetles and they're just as eye catching.

April is  usually the time when I start experimenting with new makeup and skincare products and looking to update my home and wardrobe a bit. Here are a few of my favorite things this month that I think you might like too.
1. Gloss and Toss Flex Spray  2. Scarab Earrings Hermosa Jewlry  3. AG Distressed Frayed Hem Legging Ankle Jean    4. One Love Gardenia + Tea Antioxidant Body Serum  5. Louis Vuitton Neverfull  6. J. Crew Off the Shoulder Gingham Top   7. Vince Camuto Corlina Ankle Strap Sandal

Gloss and Toss Flex spray is a flexible holding spray that has three different strengths. Simply twist the nozzle for low, med, or high. It also has vitamin B5, making it a great option for thermal heat styling. I spray my hair with it and brush through before curling and the curl stays all day! I touch up fly-aways as needed with a light spritz.

Another fave is One Love Organic's Gardenia + Tea Antioxidant Body Serum. This serum smells like summertime in the south! It's moisturizing but light and gives your skin a little dewy glow. Perfect for bringing winter skin back to life.

Thanks for stopping in! There are more posts coming, so be sure to subscribe to get the latest in your inbox! And let me know if you've tried any of these products and which pieces you're looking to add to your wardrobe this spring!
